Slovak Center of Training Companies      

The Slovak Center of Training Companies (hereinafter SCCF) is a department of the State Institute of Vocational Education (ŠIOV). SCCF was established in January 1998 at the detached workplace of ŠIOV at Černyševského 27 in Bratislava-Petržalka on the basis of a decision of the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic and with the effective moral and material assistance of the Ministry of Education of Austria and KulturKontakt. SCCF also represents Slovakia at the international level and ensures cooperation with foreign headquarters and training companies.

Since 2008, the Slovak Center of Training Companies has moved and works in the premises of the State Institute of Vocational Education at Bella 54 / A in Bratislava. It also has a detached workplace that works at the University of Economics in Bratislava at the Faculty of Economics at the Department of Pedagogy, Dolnozemská cesta 1, Bratislava.


Main tasks of SCCF

  • simulates state administration offices - the Department of Trade Licensing, the Register Court, the Tax and Customs Office, the Social and Health Insurance Company, the Post Office and the Bank for Domestic and Foreign Payments. Centrobanka at SCCF also maintains personnel accounts of training companies, as well as accounts of insurance companies and the tax office, thus simulating the flow of funds of training companies. 
  • prepares conferences, seminars, trainings, provides consulting services for training companies, prepares and manages projects, assists in the creation of school projects, ensures international cooperation, manages its own website www.sccf.sk 
  • organizes competitions for training companies (for example, a competition for the best business plan). 
  • prepares and organizes fairs and contracting days of training companies at home and abroad. 

The training company is set up as a real company and has the basic departments of a normal real company, such as the personnel department, the secretariat, the legal department, the sales department, the marketing and advertising department, the economic department, etc. It is a simulation of the activities of departments in a real company, where students have the opportunity to make a mistake that does not have such an economic impact as in a real company, but fulfills an educational function.
